Barakat Chicken Shawarma was created with one simple idea:Bring Great Shawarma Together Under One Roof.We wanted to create a modern halal restaurant where customers could experience different shawarma traditions while still enjoying the fast-food favorites they already love.That's why our menu brings together Arab, Turkish, and Greek-style shawarma alongside smash burgers, hot chicken, gyros, rice platters, salads, and more.Our mission is to serve Philadelphia with fresh halal food, generous portions, great service, and flavors worth coming back for.We're proud to call University City home and look forward to serving students, families, professionals, and our local community.
